First foods means arms in it up to the elbow. This is the bib that covers the sleeves too.

The whole solar system on a bib, including the dwarf planet debate. A long-sleeve smock bib in Planets — watercolor planets, moons, and constellations on charcoal. Full-sleeve coverage in 100% Reprieve® recycled polyester with a TPU waterproof coating — OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — with a snap closure at the back and elasticized cuffs. Stain-resistant and odor-resistant, so it wipes clean and goes again. For first foods, baby-led weaning, and anything involving tomato sauce.

The bib, in detail. Covers the arms to the wrist and the front to the lap — 14 in across, 13 in neck to hem, 32 in cuff to cuff. Wipe it under the tap or machine wash; tumble dry low. Don’t iron — heat damages the waterproof layer. Sized roughly 4 months to 3 years.

Common questions

When do we need the long sleeves?

First foods and baby-led weaning — anywhere arms end up in the bowl. Past about two, most kids move to a shorter silicone bib.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — a TPU waterproof coating over recycled polyester. Spaghetti sauce stays on the bib, not the shirt.

How do I clean it?

Wipe under the tap or machine wash, then tumble dry low. Don’t iron — heat damages the waterproof layer.

What age does it fit?

Roughly 4 months to 3 years, depending on the kid.

When you'll reach for it. The puree months and early baby-led weaning, when a meal involves the arms as much as the mouth. A short silicone bib covers the front; this one covers the sleeves your washing machine would otherwise inherit. Most kids move back to a short bib once the aim improves, somewhere past two.

Samuel ★★★★★

The long sleeves actually stay down past his elbows, so yogurt doesn't end up smeared up his forearms anymore. And I like that the planets print gives us something to talk about while he eats.

James ★★★★★

My 1-year-old treats mealtime like a full-body contact sport, so the long sleeves on this bib have saved so many outfits already. The planets print is a nice bonus and I've had two other parents ask where it's from. Wipes clean in the sink, no staining.

Edward ★★★★★

The sleeves actually reach past the elbow, so when my daughter leans forward mid-meal the mess stays on the bib instead of her shirt. The solar system print is a fun conversation starter, and the water-resistant layer wipes down in seconds. Definitely making weaning less of a laundry disaster.
